Actress Mahima Nambiar, known for her impressive performances in Tamil and Malayalam films, was recently left emotional by a heartfelt letter of appreciation from a fan in the United Kingdom.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share her overwhelming emotions after receiving the letter from a fan named Mr. Thomas.
In a lengthy post, she expressed her surprise and gratitude, stating, "So, out of nowhere, I received this letter from Mr. Thomas in the United Kingdom and I feel completely overwhelmed with emotions."
Mahima, who has starred in critically acclaimed films like "Saattai," "Kuttram 23," "Magamuni," and "RDX," was touched by the effort the fan took to find her address and send a handwritten note.
In the letter, penned in Malayalam, the fan praised her body of work and acting craft across several films.
In her response to the fan, whom she addressed as "Thomas chetta" (brother), Mahima wrote, "This letter is really special. I've often heard of celebrated actors receiving letters from people appreciating their work and craft and I've always looked at it with a sense of awe and admiration."
She added, "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that someone would make the effort to find my address and send me such a beautiful note. I'm just an ordinary actor!!"
The actress shared that the letter has given her strength and encouragement to continue her work, reminding her that her efforts are worthwhile. She also took the opportunity to thank all her fans for their love and support through messages, comments, and fan pages.
