Bollywood Veteran Govardhan Asrani Passes Away at 84 After Prolonged Illness

Renowned Bollywood actor and director, Govardhan Asrani, a beloved figure in Indian cinema, has sadly passed away at the age of 84. 



The veteran star, known for his iconic comedic timing and memorable character roles, had been battling a prolonged illness. 

Asrani's career spanned over five decades, during which he appeared in more than 300 films, leaving an indelible mark on the industry and generations of fans.

Born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Asrani began his journey in Bollywood in the early 1960s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile performer. 

He was particularly celebrated for his ability to bring humor and warmth to every character he portrayed, often stealing scenes with his unique expressions and dialogue delivery. 

Some of his most celebrated roles include his performances in classics like "Sholay," "Chupke Chupke," "Pati Patni Aur Woh," and "Deewaar."
