Tamannaah Calls Sidharth 'Handsome-ta' at Vvaan Launch

The trailer launch of The Vvaan turned into a mutual admiration session as co-stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra showered praise on each other at the Mumbai event.

Tamannaah, in particular, stole the moment by coining a brand-new word for her co-star's looks — "Handsome-ta."

Pointing at Sidharth, Tamannaah told the gathering, "Handsome-ta ka jo title hai, the one who embodies handsomeness, I got a chance to work with him!" — a line that drew a big reaction from the crowd.

She followed it up with a playful pun on her own name, joking, "Meri tamanna poori ho gayi Tamannaah ke saath kaam karne ki! Tamanna toh hamari thi" (loosely, "My wish of working with a Tamannaah has come true! The wish was always ours"), turning her own name into the punchline.

Tamannaah didn't stop at wordplay, either. She got candid about Sidharth's warmth on set, saying that despite two decades in the industry, his chivalry genuinely moved her, adding that while everyone sees how dashing he is, it's his kindness on set that she'll remember.

She also spoke about bonding with co-star Shweta Tiwari, joking that their easy on-screen chemistry felt like it was carried over from a past life.

The event, held at a Mumbai multiplex, was also attended by producer Ektaa R Kapoor, director Deepak Mishra, and cast members Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, and Maniesh Paul.

The Vvaan marks Sidharth and Tamannaah's first on-screen pairing, with the folklore-driven fantasy adventure — inspired by The Legend of Vvaan comic universe — set to release in cinemas on September 25, 2026.
