Mumbai: Actress Malvika Raaj, best known for her memorable role as the younger version of Kareena Kapoor's character 'Poo' in the 2001 blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and her husband, Pranav Bagga, have welcomed their first child.
The couple was blessed with a baby girl on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Raaj and Bagga shared the joyous news on Sunday via a joint Instagram post.
They posted a heartwarming pink-themed announcement featuring balloons with the message, "Pink bows, tiny toes and a love that overflows. Welcome to the world baby girl. 23.08.2025."
In their caption, the new parents expressed their happiness, writing, “From our Hearts to our Arms, Our Baby Girl is Here 🩷 🌍 #babygirl #ourworld #babybagga.”
Speaking about the experience, Malvika shared her overwhelming emotions, stating, "The feeling of seeing my own child in front of me will always be impossible to describe, it's a blessing for life." She revealed that despite a long and exhausting eighteen-hour labor, all the pain vanished the moment she saw her daughter. "Pranav and I were both left teary-eyed," she added.
The couple, who had been in a relationship for over ten years, tied the knot in a beautiful beach wedding in Goa in November 2023.
They had announced their pregnancy in May of this year.
Following their announcement, the couple's social media has been flooded with congratulatory messages from friends, family, and fans, all celebrating the new chapter in their lives.
The couple plans to announce their daughter's name soon after a traditional naming ceremony.
