Description : While big-budget releases fight for screens, Kannada film Premada Oorali keeps growing on word of mouth.
Sacnilk’s weekly South Indian report for October 23–25 described its fifth-weekend run as extraordinary, with ₹10.36 crore added over the weekend.
A report on October 23 said the film was only ₹7.63 crore away from ₹100 crore net. Koimoi’s Day 23 update said it overtook Kurukshetra to enter the top 10 Kannada grossers worldwide.
The same weekend report contrasted the film with Jailer 2, whose star power drives huge openings, and with Malayalam release Titans, which struggled to build on its opening.
Premada Oorali shows that steady audience support can matter as much as star power. If you publish this, check the latest net and gross totals on Sacnilk first.
One headline reported a figure above ₹111 crore, and the report didn’t make clear which measure that referred to.
