Yes, it's confirmed that veteran actress Laya's daughter, Sloka (also spelled Shloka), is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming Telugu film Akhanda 2, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Sreenu. Sloka will portray the role of Balakrishna's on-screen daughter, a character that continues from the first installment of the franchise. 

The film is currently being shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and is scheduled for release on September 25, 2025, coinciding with the Dasara festival season. Sloka's debut has garnered significant attention, especially considering that her mother, Laya, previously acted alongside Balakrishna in the 2004 film Vijayendra Varma.
