It's great that you're excited for "Son Of Sardaar 2"! However, the movie's official release date is August 1, 2025.
The film was initially scheduled for a July 25, 2025 release, but it was postponed.
The first reviews from censor screenings are just starting to come in, with some calling it a "dull entertainer packed with comedy, mass action, emotion and heartwarming moments".
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, this standalone sequel to the 2012 film "Son of Sardaar" stars Ajay Devgn, who reprises his role as Jassi, alongside Mrunal Thakur.[1][8] The cast also includes Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, and it will be the posthumous film of Mukul Dev.
The story revolves around a man who fakes being a war hero to help a couple get their parents' approval for their marriage.
The trailer for the film was released on July 11, 2025.
Advance bookings for the movie opened on July 30, 2025, with a special 50% discount on tickets for the opening day.
The film is expected to face competition at the box office from "Dhadak 2", which is releasing on the same day.
