The crown jewel of Hoysala

The crown jewel of Hoysala is not in Halebidu, Belur or Somnathpura. It's hidden in a very humble temple located at a sleepy hamlet called Kaidala - near Tumkur. This Channa Keshava temple holds the pinnacle creation of legandary Hoysala sculptor Jakanachari.

" TEMPLES OF KAKATIYA " was started with my native place at Kothapally Haveli in Karimnagar Distict.This is the temple we used to play around in my childhood which was a haunted place then and was called as "Chikati Gudi".
I am very Happy to say that after the submission of my assignment with the Tourism Department,The Telangana Govt. has sanctioned Rs.40Lakhs amount for the restoration of the temple.
Hopefully the newly formed Telangana Govt.will also look forward at other Kakatiya Temples which were in dilapidated condition and needs to preserve our rich culture & heritage,
