Rajasthan minister of state for Panchayati Raj, Rajendra Comment On Katrina Kaif’s Cheeks
Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot announced a reshuffle in his state cabinet recently and one of the new inductees was Rajendra Gudda. In just a few days after swearing-in as the minister of state for Panchayati Raj, Rajendra has got embroiled in a controversy.
He made his maiden visit to his constituency as a minister and Rajendra drew a parallel between the construction of roads and Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif’s cheeks. A video is now going viral where the minister is heard saying “We will make roads like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks” when asked about the construction of roads in his constituency.
The minister, who was initially a bit confused about the actress’ name, was also corrected by the audience, from Kate Kaif to Katrina Kaif. The incident happened during an event at Paonkh village. Soon after his sexist comment, people around burst out in laughter.
As soon as the video caught attention, netizens slammed the politician yet there has been no reaction from the Rajasthan government so far. Rajendra Gudda, an MLA from Udaipurwati constituency, had defected from BSP to Congress in 2019.

Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi released a day after Diwali on November 5. Apart from some action-packed drama, the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif action-drama also treated fans to a revamped version of the popular Mohra song “Tip Tip Barsa Pani”. The sizzling music video was also released on Saturday, much to the surprise of the audience. The original, from 90s release Mohra, featured Akshay and Raveena Tandon. Choreographer Farah Khan in a recent media interaction spoke about working on the recreation, and also shared that Raveena was the first one to call her after watching the new version. The 90s popular actor also mentioned to her how Katrina was looking really good in the song.
Speaking to the India Today, the choreographer-filmmaker said, “Raveena was the first one to call me and say that the song is looking fab and Katrina is looking so good. Even Manish (Malhotra) was of the thought that we go away from the visuals of the original song and he’s made Katrina look like a million bucks. I also don’t think anyone could have done justice to “Tip Tip”, other than Katrina.”
Farah revealed that given the song is an iconic one, she felt huge pressure to deliver and do justice to it. Khan also revealed since Katrina and she already had a hit “Sheila ki jawani”, it was an added pressure. Talking about collaborating with the actor again, Farah said, “It was an absolute delight! She is in her best shape and looking stunning, so to work with her on “Tip tip” was just perfect.”
Commenting on re-creating the song, the choreographer said that the idea was not to go overtly sensual like the original song. “Rohit (Shetty) had a very different vision for the new version. The original song came out some 27 years ago and clearly, things have changed since then. So, we wanted to make the song look very current. There was also the fact that the visuals of the original song and that yellow sari are so iconic that they are still imprinted on our minds. Add Raveena to that, who is a dear friend, and her appeal. So, I didn’t want her going for my neck (laughs),” Farah Khan shared.

Bollywood stalwarts Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are dating each other for the last couple of years. If the latest grapevine in the B-Town is anything to go by, the couple is planning to tie a knot in December this year.
According to the sources, both Alia and Ranbir have emptied their date diaries as of now and are planning to resume works only in 2022.
Ranbir was supposed to be shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal in the last quarter of this year but it is heard that he had asked the makers to postpone his schedule to early next year.
The same is the case with Alia Bhatt. Apparently, the Highway actress completed the works of her ongoing projects and is keeping herself free during the end of this year. It is heard that she will be promoting RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi in the first week of January.
As per the report of the Deccan Chronicle, a source stated, “Ranbir has pushed the Animal shoot to 2022; besides, he has to Shamshera to promote, which releases in March 2022. The buzz is that the two are getting married in December, which is why they’ve kept their date diaries empty, just as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had done even as they denied about the wedding before going off to Italy to get married. Hopefully, there’ll be an official announcement, just as the Kapoors normally do.”
