As of March 21, 2025, the historical drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, has achieved a remarkable milestone by grossing over ₹600 crore in India. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film's lifetime domestic net collection stands at ₹581.45 crore, with a gross collection of ₹556.74 crore . Additionally, The Indian Express reports that Chhaava has earned ₹574.95 crore net domestically, bringing it close to surpassing the box office figures of Stree 2 .​

Globally, Chhaava has amassed a total of ₹645.58 crore, including ₹88.84 crore from overseas markets . This impressive performance positions the film among the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025.​

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava portrays the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Vicky Kaushal in the lead role and Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai. Popular YouTuber Sarthak Sachdeva posted an Instagram video, claiming that Gauri Khan’s Mumbai restaurant Torii served ‘fake’ paneer. Recently, celebrity chef Vikas Khanna and MasterChef India judge slammed the YouTuber, stating that it was “scary that unqualified people are taken seriously.”.

Vikas Khanna took to his Instagram, to refute the fake paneer claims, stating: “ I’ve been cooking and working with the science of food for the past several decades. I’ve never seen such terrible misinformation like YouTuber who claims to be a food scientist.”

Chef Vikas Khanna has publicly defended Gauri Khan's Mumbai restaurant, Torii, following allegations that it served "fake" paneer. The controversy began when YouTuber Sarthak Sachdeva conducted an iodine test on paneer dishes from various celebrity-owned restaurants, including Torii. In his video, the paneer from Torii turned black upon contact with iodine, which he interpreted as evidence of adulteration due to starch content. ​

Torii responded by explaining that the dish in question contained soy-based ingredients, which naturally include starch, leading to the observed reaction in the iodine test. They emphasized that the presence of starch does not indicate that the paneer is fake or adulterated. ​

Supporting this clarification, Vikas Khanna criticized the YouTuber's claims, stating, "I’ve been cooking & working with the science of food for the past several decades. I’ve never seen such terrible misinformation like [this] YouTuber who claims to be a food scientist." He highlighted that the iodine test reflects the presence of starch but does not determine the authenticity of paneer. 

The incident has sparked discussions about the reliability of such food tests and the importance of understanding food chemistry before drawing conclusions.

Jr. NTR is set to commence filming for his highly anticipated project with director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled NTRNeel, on April 22, 2025. The film is being produced under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, with a planned release date of April 9, 2026, across multiple languages . While the official title remains unconfirmed, reports suggest it may be called Dragon .

Ahead of the shoot, Mythri Movie Makers shared a photo of Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel in discussion on a beach, captioning it:​
