Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, is reportedly set to marry Zainab Ravdjee on June 6, 2025. The couple has been engaged since November 2024, and preparations for their wedding are progressing swiftly. 

Zainab Ravdjee is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee and is known as an artist and entrepreneur. She runs a skincare brand called OnceUponTheSkin and has showcased her artwork in cities like London and Dubai. 

While the Akkineni family has not made an official announcement, sources suggest that the wedding may take place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, the same venue where Akhil's elder brother, Naga Chaitanya, reportedly got married. There are also speculations about a possible celebration in Rajasthan. 

As the wedding date approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation and details about the ceremony.

In the upcoming Telugu mythological epic Kannappa, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal take on the divine roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, respectively. 

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, the film narrates the legendary tale of Kannappa, a tribal warrior who transforms into a devout follower of Lord Shiva. Vishnu Manchu portrays the titular character, with Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal making special appearances as the divine couple .

Akshay Kumar's portrayal of Lord Shiva marks his debut in Telugu cinema. Initially hesitant, Kumar reportedly declined the role twice before accepting it, influenced by the film's spiritual depth and the director's vision . 

Kajal Aggarwal, reuniting with Kumar after over a decade since their collaboration in Special 26, embodies Goddess Parvati. Her first look, adorned in a white saree with traditional jewelry, was unveiled earlier this year, highlighting her role as the divine mother .

The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Prabhas as Rudra and Mohanlal as Kirata, and is slated for a theatrical release on June 27, 2025. 

Kannappa promises a grand cinematic experience, blending mythological storytelling with high production values, and will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English .
