Shikha Joshi commits suicide
Shilpa Shukla, who worked with Shikha Joshi in BA Pass, says that she just can't believe someone would slit her throat to end her life, reports Bombay Times. Shilpa was shocked to hear the news of Shikha's death as earlier that day, she had seen Shikha had changed her social networking profile picture from a coloured photo to a black-and-white one with her family, the report stated. Recalling the BA Pass post-release party, Shilpa said to BT that they danced a lot and had a nice warm chat too. Shikha was someone who made an effort to stay in touch, added Shilpa.
Recounting the actress' audition for the film, Shilpa said that there was something about Shikha that made her stand out. To think that she took this step because of no work coming her way is difficult to imagine, she added. While Shilpa can't come to terms with the reports that she committed suicide, that Shikha took such a painful way to end her life is difficult for her to believe, the report concluded quoting Shilpa.
