Telangana as the newest and 29th state of India was formed on June 2, 2014. Telangana Rashtra Samithi by securing majority of seats in the state Assembly formed Government with Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao as the First Chief Minister. The Government completes one year in office on June 2, 2015.
