Godfather is a remake of Malayalam drama Lucifer which had Mohanlal in the lead, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Buzz is that Tollywood Creative Director Puri Jagannath is playing Guest role in the movie and he portraying a journalist character.
Nayanatara is playing female lead.
