Rumors of Priyanka Chopra in "Love and War" Stir Excitement, But Are They True?
Excitement is buzzing in Bollywood circles about the prospect of Priyanka Chopra returning to Hindi cinema in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film, "Love and War."
However, contrary to widespread speculation, Priyanka Chopra is not officially part of the star-studded cast.
Recent rumors about Chopra's involvement were fueled by a throwback video she posted on social media, reminiscing about her song "Ram Chahe Leela" from Bhansali's 2013 film, "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela."
This led many to believe she was set to collaborate with the acclaimed director once again.
However, industry sources have since clarified that there is "absolutely no truth to the speculation" of them working together on "Love and War" at this time.
While some reports have suggested the possibility of a special dance number, similar to her appearance in "Ram-Leela," this remains unconfirmed and has been dismissed by other sources.
The Official "Love and War" Cast
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has assembled a powerhouse trio for his epic saga:
Ranbir Kapoor
Alia Bhatt[
Vicky Kaushal
The film marks Bhansali's first collaboration with Vicky Kaushal and reunites him with Ranbir Kapoor after his 2007 debut "Saawariya" and with Alia Bhatt after the success of "Gangubai Kathiawadi."
About The Film
"Love and War" is described as a passionate love story set against the backdrop of a war.
The film is currently in production, with intense face-off scenes between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal reportedly scheduled for August 2025.

While the prospect of Priyanka Chopra returning to a Bhansali production has understandably generated significant excitement among fans, her actual comeback to Indian cinema will be with SS Rajamouli's upcoming film, tentatively titled "SSMB29," alongside Mahesh Babu.
