KHALEJA IS RE RE RELEASING ON MAY 30

Mahesh Babu's film Khaleja is set for a 4K re-release in theaters on May 30, 2025. Originally released in 2010 and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film didn't meet box office expectations at the time but has since gained a cult following. The re-release coincides with the birthday of Mahesh Babu's father, the late superstar Krishna, adding sentimental significance to the event .

The 4K restoration aims to offer fans a refreshed cinematic experience of this action-comedy-fantasy film. With minimal competition at the box office due to the postponement of other major releases like Kingdom and Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Khaleja's re-release is anticipated to draw significant attention .

Khaleja’s final shooting to begin at ICRISAT

Mahesh Babu’s much awaited film ‘Khaleja’ is now fast approaching the final shooting schedule. The next schedule will begin with a talkie part at ICRISAT in Hyderabad in a couple of days after which two songs will be shot, one at Annapoorna Studios and the other at Ramoji Film City. With the completion of this shooting schedule, ‘Khaleja’ will successfully move on to post production works. The audio will hit the music stands by August end and the film will be released in September.

Khaleja to release by September end

The long awaited movie of the year ‘Khaleja’ is going to make Mahesh’s fans wait for some more time. The film that was expected to release in August got postponed to September 1st week and now further to September 4th week. This apart, Mani Sharma’s work in ‘Khaleja’ is expected to hit the market directly by August end. Except for a song, Trivikram Srinivas has completed the entire shooting part. This last song will be shot in Chennai very soon. The main attractions of ‘Khaleja’ that are eagerly awaited include its story, music, action, cinematography, choreography of songs, the most expensive shooting sets and of course not to speak of the sizzling Anushka opposite Mahesh Babu. The film is jointly being produced by Singanamala Ramesh and C Kalyan.
