The production team has selected picturesque locations in Odisha's Koraput district, including areas around the Eastern Ghats, for key sequences. Notably, Deomali, the highest mountain peak in Odisha, known for adventure sports like aero-gliding and trekking, is among the chosen sites. This schedule is expected to continue until the end of March 2025. 

Reports suggest that the film's theme is based in African forests, leading Rajamouli to choose Indian locations resembling the serenity of the Amazon rainforest. While Mahesh Babu plays the lead role, the rest of the cast remains under wraps, with names like Priyanka Chopra being speculated. 

This schedule in Odisha is the second for 'SSMB29', following an initial schedule completed in Hyderabad. The film, an action-adventure with a forest backdrop, is generating significant excitement among fans.
