Ram and Ileana made debut in YVS Chowdhary directed Devadas in 2006. While Ileana went on to become number one heroine in Tollywood, Ram became one of the hottest young stars today. Three years after they made entry, Ram and Ileana are working together for second time for a new film to be directed by Surender Reddy.

After stupendous success of Kick, director Surender Reddy toyed with couple of ideas but he has finally zeroed on Ram and Ileana as the lead pair for his new film. It will either be produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore or some other top producer but Ravi Kishore has given advance to Surender Reddy for this project. The film goes on to the sets in Feb 2010.

Surender Reddy projected Ileana in most glamorous avatar in Kick, so the top actress immediately said yes to this film and moreover she is excited to pair up with her first her again.

Tollywood’s Star Nite in aid of Flood victims was a huge hit. Titled Spandana, the event was colorful event with all the big stars graced the event, which was held at Gachibowli stadium, Hyderabad on November 7, 2009. Total an amount of for Rs. 5,28,47, 101 was collected from this and it was handed over to Chief Minister Rosaiah who directly flew in from Delhi to attend this event. He commanded the Tollywood for coming forward to help the victims and TV9, which made the event possible.
From Tollywood, all the top actors participated in the special song. The stars includede - Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, NTR, Ravi Teja, Ram, Nitin, Ileana, Hansika, Bhumika, Tarun, Saikumar, Prakash Raj, Murali Mohan, Ramanaidu, Raghavendra Rao, Jamuna, Geetanjali, Khaveri Jha, Mohan Babu, Roja and others.

Only Mahesh Babu didn't attend from the top rung stars.

From Tamil film industry, Superstar Rajnikant and Surya graced the event. Surya donated Rs 10 Lakhs. Kannada actor Sudeep also attended.
Music directors Koti, MM Keeravani, Chakri, Mani Sharma, Raj Kumar, Vandemataram Srinivas, Taman, Mickey J. Mayer, Devi Sri Prasad, SP Balasubramanyam and others were prominent figures who gave resonating performance.
Shriya, Allu Arjun, Mamta Mohan Das, Siddarth, Genelia and others gave live performance with their steps, much to the hooting from the audiences.

Balakrishna donated another Rs 20 Lakhs on the stage apart from his contribution to CM Relief fund earlier (Rs 20 Lakhs). Balakrishna who took the initiative and who made this show possible seemed happy that the show turned out to be such a big hit.
Dasari Narayana Rao convened the programme. It is biggest star event in Tollywood after Diamod Jubilee Celebrations held two years back.
