"Jurassic World Rebirth" Hits Home Screens, But There's a Catch for Streamers

The latest installment in the popular dinosaur franchise, "Jurassic World Rebirth," starring Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey, is now available to watch at home, but not on a subscription-based streaming service just yet.

The blockbuster film, which premiered in theaters in July 2025, was made available for digital purchase and rental on August 5, 2025.

This means fans can now watch the movie from the comfort of their homes through platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.

However, the "catch" is that viewers must pay to rent or buy the film, as it is not yet included in any streaming subscription. The rental price is approximately $24.99, and the purchase price is around $29.99.

For those who prefer a physical copy, "Jurassic World Rebirth" is set for release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 9, 2025.

These physical editions will come with bonus features, including deleted scenes, an alternate opening, and a behind-the-scenes documentary.

Fans waiting to stream the movie as part of their existing subscriptions will have to hold on a bit longer. While an official streaming date has not been announced, it is expected that "Jurassic World Rebirth" will land on Peacock, likely in late October or early November 2025, following Universal's typical release schedule.

The film, directed by Gareth Edwards, introduces a new storyline in the Jurassic universe and also stars Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

It follows a covert team on a mission to a former island research facility to extract DNA from three of the largest prehistoric creatures.
